I then rotated the tertiary to NA1 and again confirmed that the clamps were engaged there as well, ie. '0 0 0 1' status. I changed to NA2 port for 2nd half. I checked the clamp status after the rotation and it reported clamped. No problems tonight with the tertiary mirror and telescope pointing was very good as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:55 ecamera 483( 698) 156 58 18.9 19.4 19.9 19.0 18.9 clear 0.99 01:15 arctic 337( 1498) 211 52 15.7 16.1 16.8 15.9 15.9 4170 1.53 01:17 NA2gdr -2173(35826) 212 52 15.9 16.1 16.8 15.8 15.9 clear 1.63 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 44 ?? 2032 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 36 4 189 (S) 1974 ptly cldy none 18:00 70 34 2 64 (ENE) 1565 mstly clr none 19:00 69 35 9 85 (E) 1682 mstly clr none 20:00 67 36 13 81 (E) 2109 clear none 21:00 65 35 13 79 (E) 2506 clear none 22:00 64 37 13 84 (E) 2721 clear none 23:00 63 40 11 92 (E) 2984 clear none 00:00 63 42 11 115 (ESE) 2884 clear none 01:00 62 42 15 125 (SE) 2991 clear none 02:00 61 42 10 106 (ESE) 2957 clear none 03:00 61 43 3 109 (ESE) 4130 clear none 04:00 63 42 5 189 (S) 3227 clear dust 05:00 58 46 4 103 (ESE) 5566 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
