That was the theme of the night. We had radar returns coming from every direction but kept having a clear spot over the dome, though the clouds were always in the all sky camera. The sky finally decided to make a decision around 3am when the clouds formed very quickly from the east and we had some sprinkles. We were not able to open tonight. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 36 19 82 (E) 1257 cloudy none 17:00 67 36 14 215 (SW) 2854 cloudy none 18:00 67 35 11 199 (SSW) 2631 cloudy none 19:00 65 35 6 218 (SW) 2933 cloudy none 20:00 66 34 9 225 (SW) 1913 mstly cldy none 21:00 66 32 7 266 (W) 1426 ptly cldy none 22:00 66 32 6 256 (WSW) 1534 mstly clr none 23:00 64 31 15 218 (SW) 1758 mstly clr none 00:00 64 22 6 259 (W) 1382 mstly clr none 01:00 63 21 7 266 (W) 1202 mstly clr none 02:00 64 21 10 321 (NW) 1431 mstly clr none 03:00 63 24 10 325 (NW) 1277 mstly cldy none 04:00 62 23 4 354 (N) 1311 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
