I did not restart Tron or TCC. Zero'ed NA2 rotator The 3.5m IR/Vis display computer screens were frozen. It restarted itself after a few minutes, displaying a BSOD, and attempted an auto fix but hung. I rebooted the computer and it said Hard drive not found. PR sent. I adjusted the ecam focus. Need to take a new mask now. We started about an hour late due to clouds and nearby radar returns. Finally opened at 22:00. We did the bright star on ARCTIC and APOLLO STV camera and that worked giving us our offsets. We were able to pick up the Galileos satellites with ARCTIC. We tried with the STV but believe the narrow band filter in the light path is causing issues. Satellite was not visible on the STV in 20s exposures. We did Shack-Hartmann training even with clouds. We didn't implement anything, just took some iffy data to analyze and go through the process. After we finished SH training I restarted TCC & Tron and I took data to make new masks for Echelle but had a problem reducing the data per the wiki instructions. Email sent to Russet & Amanda for advice. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:39 shack 380( 2202) -121 46 19.3 18.3 19.0 18.1 18.6 -- 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 82 46 13 256 (WSW) 1061 ptly cldy none 17:00 80 44 11 281 (W) 1040 ptly cldy none 18:00 79 44 11 269 (W) 1003 ptly cldy none 19:00 69 49 8 352 (N) 10466 mstly cldy none 20:00 67 49 11 73 (ENE) 5170 mstly cldy none 21:00 67 48 14 81 (E) 4362 ptly cldy none 22:00 65 48 14 79 (E) 3873 mstly clr none 23:00 65 46 12 107 (ESE) 1569 ptly cldy none 00:00 65 45 6 124 (SE) 1362 mstly cldy none 01:00 66 45 5 155 (SSE) 1281 mstly cldy none 02:00 66 44 11 140 (SE) 1454 ptly cldy none 03:00 64 44 10 160 (SSE) 1502 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
