The weather was otherwise fine, with a few thin clouds at the start and end of the night. Pollen counts were low. APOLLO didn't overheat tonight and we were able to get three reflectors! No telescope or instrument problems. First echelle focus at high airmass. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:02 ecamera 361( 578) 195 24 14.9 18.9 18.6 19.1 16.8 Clear 3.50 00:13 ecamera 330( 300) 255 82 15.6 14.4 15.2 14.2 14.5 ND2 1.24 03:57 APOLLO 400( 2094) 84 39 12.6 12.7 13.4 12.5 12.5 530 2.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 30 7 200 (SSW) 2470 ptly cldy none 17:00 75 31 18 245 (WSW) 2505 ptly cldy none 18:00 72 29 16 239 (WSW) 2346 ptly cldy none 19:00 68 39 14 209 (SSW) 3444 ptly cldy none 20:00 64 35 11 186 (S) 2797 mstly clr none 21:00 59 39 14 138 (SE) 2905 clear none 22:00 59 36 8 147 (SSE) 2738 clear none 23:00 60 28 3 166 (SSE) 2454 clear none 00:00 62 22 11 218 (SW) 1919 clear none 01:00 61 22 9 212 (SSW) 2021 clear none 02:00 59 32 12 183 (S) 2527 clear none 03:00 58 34 14 181 (S) 2569 clear none 04:00 56 37 11 180 (S) 2577 mstly clr none 05:00 55 39 14 150 (SSE) 2556 mstly clr none 06:00 55 35 7 171 (S) 2545 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
