Good seeing during A-half that got a bit worse B-half. During test slews, the NA2 rotator halted with a "cannot compute" error in the status window. Commanded as tcc rot -30 mount; from rot 0 and stopped at -5.6. (2024-05-05 00:55:36 .tcc.0 0 tcc w WarnRotStatus; RotStat=-5.611000,-0.000120,5221587336.85000,0x00000001; RotDTime=0.09) Re-initialized axes and had no other problems with it. Az fiducial error on slew back after tracking (not worrisome). Pollen counts low all night. Closed at 03:19 due to dust and weren't able to reopen. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:45 khigh 270( 1250) -54 58 11.8 13.4 13.6 12.9 11.9 -- 0.85 21:34 khigh 445( 1335) -79 37 11.3 11.1 11.9 11.0 11.2 -- 1.03 00:17 arctic 430( 1289) 156 65 9.9 9.8 10.8 9.6 9.6 ARCTIC_4170 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 20 12 193 (SSW) 2543 ptly cldy none 17:00 57 32 12 189 (S) 2761 ptly cldy none 18:00 60 28 14 223 (SW) 2670 ptly cldy none 19:00 58 10 21 255 (WSW) 2296 mstly clr none 20:00 54 6 18 234 (SW) 1991 clear none 21:00 53 7 15 246 (WSW) 2096 clear none 22:00 53 6 15 246 (WSW) 2350 clear none 23:00 52 15 10 231 (SW) 2888 clear none 00:00 52 19 9 249 (WSW) 2988 clear none 01:00 49 24 11 229 (SW) 3546 clear none 02:00 50 28 10 218 (SW) 3626 clear none 03:00 48 30 11 226 (SW) 3983 mstly clr dust 04:00 48 29 9 186 (S) 4112 mstly clr dust 05:00 45 30 9 184 (S) 4036 mstly clr dust 06:00 44 28 9 188 (S) 3862 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
