Some thin clouds in and out for the first half of the night, but good seeing. Clear after, but we got hit with dust after the wind shifted to the SE. Closed due to dust at about 04:00; we weren't able to reopen. No telescope or instrument problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:10 klow 130( 1408) 251 66 17.1 19.7 19.4 19.5 17.4 -- 0.72 00:25 tcamera 352( 1624) 256 53 16.8 15.2 15.7 14.9 15.9 Ks 0.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 27 11 178 (S) 1722 ptly cldy none 17:00 74 27 17 201 (SSW) 1944 ptly cldy none 18:00 68 26 13 204 (SSW) 2220 ptly cldy none 19:00 71 25 26 204 (SSW) 2144 mstly clr none 20:00 64 17 14 233 (SW) 1966 clear none 21:00 63 12 12 203 (SSW) 1963 mstly clr none 22:00 63 11 11 193 (SSW) 1911 ptly cldy none 23:00 62 11 6 209 (SSW) 2282 mstly clr none 00:00 63 12 6 192 (SSW) 2001 mstly clr none 01:00 62 10 11 176 (S) 1779 clear none 02:00 62 11 9 190 (S) 1686 clear none 03:00 58 31 14 149 (SSE) 3020 clear none 04:00 57 39 14 140 (SE) 4198 clear dust 05:00 57 36 11 136 (SE) 4570 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
