APOLLO training for me with Russet tonight. We ended a few minutes early due to UTAH being a little warm tonight. We noticed pointing was a little off with APOLLO, Russet fixed it then we checked Echelle pointing. Pointing on the Echelle looked good. No problems tonight. Observers are taking cals with the echelle at the end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:38 kosmos 297( 1474) 216 77 15.8 17.8 17.7 17.3 15.9 -- 0.82 23:16 APOLLO 322( 2109) -13 45 15.2 14.8 15.4 14.6 14.8 -- 1.20 00:52 ecamera 430( 414) -41 73 15.3 14.7 15.3 14.7 14.9 ND3 0.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 21 7 265 (W) 1067 clear none 17:00 69 21 12 254 (WSW) 1090 clear none 18:00 68 22 11 262 (W) 1133 clear none 19:00 65 20 14 263 (W) 1192 clear none 20:00 61 19 13 239 (WSW) 1426 clear none 21:00 59 18 8 243 (WSW) 1421 clear none 22:00 59 19 11 262 (W) 1517 clear none 23:00 59 19 12 263 (W) 1306 clear none 00:00 59 20 10 265 (W) 1337 clear none 01:00 59 20 11 264 (W) 1296 clear none 02:00 59 20 14 253 (WSW) 1390 clear none 03:00 57 20 16 215 (SW) 1812 clear none 04:00 57 20 15 220 (SW) 1855 clear none 05:00 56 21 12 250 (WSW) 1908 clear none 06:00 56 23 17 267 (W) 1419 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
