The stripchart mac CPU was at 100% but computer not frozen; process "Strip Tool" using 160% CPU so I force quit it. This killed the az alt error plot, so that one was the culprit. I closed and restarted all stripchart graphs; CPU usage went back to normal. Mirror covers had to be reset (as expected). ARCTIC was unhappy at checkout with all quads at high constant values. Both UL and LR quads dropped with arctic init, but only UL was a pain to get back. I recovered the quads at the start of the night as we had a lot of radar and clouds and weren't going to get on sky anyway. There was a lot of radar but sadly no more precipitation after sunset. We finally opened around 04:00 when the radar dissipated and we could see some stars again, and got about an hour on sky at the end of the night through the clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:04 arctic 330( 1032) 217 56 7.0 6.4 6.9 6.4 6.6 ARCTIC_4170 1.01 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 36 18 355 (N) 2260 cloudy lt rain 17:00 44 34 15 343 (NNW) 604 cloudy none 18:00 45 34 7 348 (NNW) 764 cloudy none 19:00 45 33 17 327 (NNW) 689 cloudy none 20:00 44 34 22 335 (NNW) 556 cloudy none 21:00 43 35 9 347 (NNW) 568 cloudy none 22:00 45 33 9 18 (NNE) 498 cloudy none 23:00 44 35 13 2 (N) 460 cloudy none 00:00 44 36 13 39 (NE) 512 cloudy none 01:00 44 35 12 16 (NNE) 571 cloudy none 02:00 44 35 14 6 (N) 476 cloudy none 03:00 44 34 11 11 (N) 459 cloudy none 04:00 45 33 10 19 (NNE) 411 mstly cldy none 05:00 45 34 11 48 (NE) 322 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
