In addition to dust, there was a power problem (middle line was arcing at one of the power poles on Apache Point Road). A bucket truck was dispatched and linemen did a hot repair that kept us from reverting to generator power. With the threat of fire and power loss contained, NM06 was able to start 0.6 hour ahead of schedule. Pollen counts varied from 18 to 52. No other issues for the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:10 APOLLO 475( 2235) 273 36 12.7 13.9 14.1 14.2 12.8 530 1.20 22:41 ecamera 204( 6) 196 76 10.3 10.8 12.1 10.8 10.2 ND2 1.38 00:53 klow 275( 1059) 7 12 8.7 8.3 9.2 7.9 8.1 - 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 27 26 235 (SW) 2918 mstly cldy none 17:00 63 19 26 210 (SSW) 3185 mstly cldy none 18:00 59 15 28 240 (WSW) 3499 ptly cldy none 19:00 58 7 23 255 (WSW) 2958 clear none 20:00 54 7 16 262 (W) 3183 clear none 21:00 53 8 18 284 (WNW) 6129 clear dust 22:00 52 9 13 302 (WNW) 3948 clear dust 23:00 51 9 16 295 (WNW) 2142 clear none 00:00 50 9 18 308 (NW) 1733 clear none 01:00 48 9 14 323 (NW) 1195 clear none 02:00 47 16 3 350 (N) 1229 clear none 03:00 45 19 13 7 (N) 1288 clear none 04:00 46 18 5 262 (W) 1183 clear none 05:00 45 19 7 281 (W) 1283 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
