INTENSE AURORA!!! ALL NIGHT!!! You could see it with your naked eyes and watch it dance!! Which is what Amanda and I did most of the night because we were not able to open. Humidity and dust were creeping up leading to evening and we hit the limit about 30 min before sunset. After that, it was lots of humidity and the rain sensor went off. Around 4am the humidity started coming down enough to measure the high dust. There was no hope of opening with the east winds. The Dataq mac mini froze and needed to be restart during check out. Other than that, there were no issues. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 28 6 153 (SSE) 2443 clear none 17:00 54 33 17 144 (SE) 2529 clear none 18:00 53 32 7 112 (ESE) 3006 clear none 19:00 52 33 13 86 (E) 3311 clear none 20:00 49 39 18 82 (E) 4280 clear dust 21:00 46 41 16 88 (E) 4598 clear dust 22:00 44 41 15 81 (E) clear dust 23:00 43 41 18 90 (E) mstly clr humid 00:00 42 41 23 74 (ENE) mstly clr humid 01:00 41 40 19 73 (ENE) mstly clr humid 02:00 41 40 14 98 (E) clear humid 03:00 42 38 18 119 (ESE) clear humid 04:00 45 40 21 129 (SE) 4560 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
