We got a little bit of snow this afternoon, and there was some blowing snow during the evening. Bill's restrictions kept us closed for the entire night, the wind gusts never dropping below the 15mph max. limit. Telescope parked in SW to melt the remaining snow on the enclosure. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 30 27 12 248 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 17:00 27 28 6 358 (N) cloudy humid 18:00 28 27 10 14 (NNE) ptly cldy humid 19:00 30 28 2 347 (NNW) clear humid 20:00 29 25 14 15 (NNE) clear humid 21:00 31 23 20 37 (NE) 809 clear none 22:00 31 23 19 23 (NNE) 2591 clear none 23:00 33 19 26 4 (N) 2180 clear none 00:00 32 20 14 12 (NNE) 1954 clear none 01:00 32 22 21 356 (N) 1679 clear none 02:00 32 25 14 31 (NNE) 2099 clear none 03:00 33 24 5 22 (NNE) 2153 clear none 04:00 33 24 9 357 (N) 2045 clear none 05:00 33 24 8 339 (NNW) 2033 clear none 06:00 32 24 11 10 (N) 1971 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
