They said the night sky likes are kinda blended and there was a very dark band in the spectra image. I re-checked focus, it didn't change but seeing was much better than earlier now. Their next exposure seemed fine, so maybe it was just seeing. I also counted Pollen every hour tonight. Separate email sent to Bill and obs specs. No telescope problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:30 kosmos 328( 1353) 147 78 12.4 14.5 13.9 14.2 12.9 -- 1.56 21:01 kosmos 328( 1304) 175 80 12.4 13.5 13.3 12.8 12.4 -- 0.85 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 15 21 241 (WSW) 1112 clear none 17:00 63 15 27 235 (SW) 1337 clear none 18:00 59 15 13 277 (W) 1320 clear none 19:00 59 14 19 248 (WSW) 1212 clear none 20:00 54 12 9 223 (SW) 1257 clear none 21:00 54 9 15 251 (WSW) 1135 clear none 22:00 53 11 12 262 (W) 1077 clear none 23:00 54 12 13 264 (W) 1107 clear none 00:00 54 13 15 266 (W) 914 clear none 01:00 54 13 9 265 (W) 960 clear none 02:00 53 15 13 264 (W) 1089 clear none 03:00 53 14 13 264 (W) 994 clear none 04:00 51 14 13 256 (WSW) 1088 clear none 05:00 51 14 9 261 (W) 1162 clear none 06:00 51 15 15 279 (W) 1184 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
