Pollen counts were made throughout the night and discussed with Sloan, and we both decided to open with the relatively low pollen counts after the radar was no longer a factor. ARCSAT had a dome/weather-listening fault right as B Half joined. Fortunately, Jack was online and he corrected the ARCSAT issue while I focused on 3.5-m B Half startup activities. No issues with the 3.5m tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:04 khigh 200( 867) -73 43 5.8 6.5 6.9 6.2 5.9 -- 1.33 00:36 tcamera 351( 1150) -33 64 5.5 5.3 5.9 5.2 5.2 Ks 1.28 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 25 9 263 (W) 471 mstly clr none 17:00 51 25 7 261 (W) 490 mstly clr none 18:00 48 21 11 261 (W) 507 mstly clr none 19:00 49 22 10 280 (W) 519 mstly clr none 20:00 45 20 8 262 (W) 564 ptly cldy none 21:00 44 20 11 255 (WSW) 607 mstly clr none 22:00 43 22 8 289 (WNW) 706 mstly clr none 23:00 43 22 7 325 (NW) 736 mstly clr none 00:00 42 24 9 9 (N) 534 mstly clr none 01:00 42 25 13 358 (N) 533 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 26 7 357 (N) 588 mstly clr none 03:00 40 27 7 1 (N) 521 clear none 04:00 41 27 10 33 (NNE) 513 clear none 05:00 41 24 11 348 (NNW) 739 clear none 06:00 41 22 13 331 (NNW) 835 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
