We started out with high winds and dust which then led to pollen and a delayed opening. I thought all was good once we opened, but then the wind kicked up something fierce and we closed again. After the wind came a lot of clouds. The clouds then turned to rain north of us. After that, it was just clouds off and on with high winds. The user needed to get on sky by 3am, which wasn't happening so we called it. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:27 kosmos 572( 1355) 137 75 8.1 9.4 9.1 9.4 8.1 -- 1.38 19:42 khigh 575( 1339) 145 77 8.1 9.0 8.8 8.6 8.0 -- 1.34 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 20 20 222 (SW) 2006 clear dust 17:00 52 18 16 252 (WSW) 2424 clear dust 18:00 52 16 24 241 (WSW) 2789 clear none 19:00 51 15 16 226 (SW) 2532 clear none 20:00 46 13 22 239 (WSW) 2764 clear none 21:00 47 12 24 252 (WSW) 2885 mstly clr none 22:00 47 14 16 236 (SW) 2752 mstly clr none 23:00 44 16 25 242 (WSW) 2472 mstly clr none 00:00 44 17 20 261 (W) 3171 cloudy none 01:00 43 20 29 243 (WSW) 2587 cloudy dust 02:00 41 20 28 257 (WSW) 2123 mstly cldy none 03:00 39 22 20 267 (W) 1937 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
