We gave up at 03:45 having never opened the dome. The OU01 class was able to perform in-dome calibrations, closed-dome slews, and received a variety of other instructions. Parked the dome SW to aid in melting the snow in the daytime. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 32 27 6 291 (WNW) mstly cldy none 17:00 29 25 12 41 (NE) mstly cldy none 18:00 33 24 9 341 (NNW) 226 mstly cldy none 19:00 32 25 5 0 (N) 206 mstly clr none 20:00 31 24 12 17 (NNE) 399 clear none 21:00 32 24 14 36 (NE) 225 clear none 22:00 32 22 10 30 (NNE) 457 clear none 23:00 32 22 20 25 (NNE) 177 clear none 00:00 32 21 21 16 (NNE) 268 clear none 01:00 34 15 24 22 (NNE) 358 clear none 02:00 34 17 16 11 (N) 447 clear none 03:00 34 18 11 355 (N) 249 clear none 04:00 32 19 14 359 (N) 245 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
