We also had an error with NICFPS during instrument checks that restarting nubs cleared. Clouds prevailed all A Half and most of B Half. Opened for just over an hour but the skies did not support the science. Gave up at 4:12 and closed for the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:00 khigh 325( 1093) -90 51 8.4 8.7 10.3 8.6 8.4 - 1.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 9 23 264 (W) 997 ptly cldy none 17:00 57 9 17 257 (WSW) 1004 mstly cldy none 18:00 55 9 25 261 (W) 1075 mstly cldy none 19:00 53 9 19 254 (WSW) 1225 cloudy none 20:00 51 9 18 255 (WSW) 1131 cloudy none 21:00 51 6 14 254 (WSW) 1115 mstly cldy none 22:00 50 4 16 249 (WSW) 1261 mstly cldy none 23:00 49 4 21 237 (WSW) 1345 ptly cldy none 00:00 49 3 18 235 (SW) 1265 mstly cldy none 01:00 48 4 23 229 (SW) 1203 ptly cldy none 02:00 47 3 19 238 (WSW) 1222 ptly cldy none 03:00 47 3 13 242 (WSW) 1117 mstly clr none 04:00 45 2 13 225 (SW) 1058 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
