Observing Specialist: M.Croom
ARCTIC failed to select LL during instrument checkouts; an attempt to initialize it produced a dropped quad. The next ARCTIC use is in 5 days, so the dropped quad will be addressed by others.
Initially, poor seeing and some clouds were replaced by better seeing but with persistent clouds until clear skies at midnight. The echelle was able to collect data throughout A Half, which ended a few minutes early at the completion of their targets.
At the start of B Half, there was a motion error in alt at position 73 while slewing downward, which was cleared with axis init.
Clear, dry, low-dust skies all of B Half.
No issues with Echelle, KOSMOS or ARCSAT's FlareCam tonight.
