It looked like we might have a hole moving towards us around 02:00 but local clouds persisted and a clearing never occurred. At the end of the night, when I wsa trying to change to TSPEC, I got the following error. This may be related to PR2065 with the NA2 rotator disconnecing. I reset the NA2 rotator and this cleared the problem. Additional details sent to Bill. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 13 17 209 (SSW) 1170 ptly cldy none 17:00 48 11 20 202 (SSW) 1280 mstly cldy none 18:00 48 11 18 203 (SSW) 1716 cloudy none 19:00 46 11 17 199 (SSW) 1857 cloudy none 20:00 46 11 16 196 (SSW) 2249 cloudy none 21:00 47 9 16 211 (SSW) 1890 cloudy none 22:00 47 9 13 213 (SSW) 1089 cloudy none 23:00 47 9 13 222 (SW) 1137 cloudy none 00:00 46 10 17 211 (SSW) 1088 cloudy none 01:00 46 12 20 206 (SSW) 1332 cloudy none 02:00 46 12 14 215 (SW) 1501 cloudy none 03:00 45 11 18 226 (SW) 1485 cloudy none 04:00 44 15 15 212 (SSW) 1023 cloudy none 05:00 44 16 16 224 (SW) 850 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
