We had beautiful clear skies all night! But the wind couldn't make up its mind about which way to blow. In the end, it lead to highly variable seeing, but still quite good seeing conditions. The echelle IOL continues to fall. The blue started at 23 at 17:00 and was at 20 at 4:30am. I filled at 6am and took another measurement and it had increased to 21! So maybe it's finally starting to level out! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:21 ecamera 437( -72) 271 44 1.8 3.9 3.5 3.4 2.7 ND3 1.02 19:08 ecamera 368( -229) 333 44 1.4 1.9 2.8 2.7 2.2 ND3 1.13 00:24 tcamera 433( 1014) 286 76 2.1 0.8 1.8 1.1 1.6 Ks 0.99 03:09 tcamera 438( 1027) -71 52 1.4 0.7 1.7 1.0 1.3 Ks 1.21 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 38 15 14 328 (NNW) 245 clear none 17:00 39 16 10 308 (NW) 248 clear none 18:00 36 15 2 360 (N) 293 clear none 19:00 34 15 6 336 (NNW) 327 clear none 20:00 36 15 5 257 (WSW) 261 clear none 21:00 36 14 6 273 (W) 308 clear none 22:00 36 13 10 198 (SSW) 316 clear none 23:00 36 13 10 190 (S) 351 clear none 00:00 36 12 13 201 (SSW) 439 clear none 01:00 36 12 10 214 (SW) 383 clear none 02:00 35 12 12 211 (SSW) 372 clear none 03:00 35 12 8 206 (SSW) 321 clear none 04:00 32 14 5 218 (SW) 603 clear none 05:00 33 14 2 235 (SW) 550 clear none 06:00 34 13 3 249 (WSW) 300 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
