Which started out clear for most of A half, but clouds starting forming. There was precip in the counties around us but it never managed to cross the county line. There was a really bright red fireball a little after midnight! It was captured on the cloud cam and Amanda sent out an email. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:51 arctic 282( 1068) 18 52 6.5 8.1 7.8 7.4 6.8 BG40 1.33 00:27 tcamera 289( 1098) 18 62 5.9 5.5 6.2 5.5 5.8 -- 0.92 04:10 kosmos 359( 921) -70 39 6.3 5.2 5.8 5.3 5.6 -- 0.82 05:57 APOLLO 250( 1571) 27 42 4.7 4.8 5.5 5.0 4.8 530 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 -2 10 274 (W) 237 clear none 17:00 45 -2 8 288 (WNW) 422 clear none 18:00 44 1 10 315 (NW) 588 clear none 19:00 44 4 13 270 (W) 976 clear none 20:00 43 4 8 290 (WNW) 895 clear none 21:00 43 4 16 283 (WNW) 958 clear none 22:00 44 0 12 277 (W) 680 clear none 23:00 44 -1 8 288 (WNW) 602 mstly clr none 00:00 45 -2 14 309 (NW) 536 ptly cldy none 01:00 42 -1 11 316 (NW) 725 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 -1 8 313 (NW) 696 ptly cldy none 03:00 43 -1 20 314 (NW) 543 ptly cldy none 04:00 43 -1 14 312 (NW) 585 ptly cldy none 05:00 43 -2 17 325 (NW) 500 ptly cldy none 06:00 40 -4 10 330 (NNW) 619 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
