El Paso radar is still down. ARCTIC checkout images were fine (UL down still as expected) but when the observer started taking biases all four quads read high constant values again (2nd time in 2 nights). Restarted the nubs and did an init to get back to just the UL down (LR down at first too but came back after a few minutes, as normal). Dataq froze (stripcharts still ok). I had to restart Windows within parallels and power cycle dataq on hub35m to restart it. No telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:46 arctic 347( 1277) 60 61 11.3 11.3 11.3 10.7 10.5 SDSS_r 0.76 20:57 kosmos 260( 1012) 2 51 11.9 9.5 10.4 9.1 9.9 -- 0.77 00:12 ecamera 265( -7) 159 68 11.7 9.2 10.1 9.4 9.6 ND1 0.99 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 12 12 32 (NNE) 256 ptly cldy none 17:00 52 4 7 61 (ENE) 301 mstly clr none 18:00 52 15 6 81 (E) 382 mstly clr none 19:00 53 15 3 99 (E) 416 mstly clr none 20:00 51 -1 2 333 (NNW) 437 mstly clr none 21:00 53 2 2 213 (SSW) 370 mstly clr none 22:00 53 1 2 210 (SSW) 394 mstly clr none 23:00 54 2 2 219 (SW) 399 mstly clr none 00:00 53 1 2 256 (WSW) 323 clear none 01:00 54 2 1 232 (SW) 434 clear none 02:00 52 0 2 279 (W) 392 clear none 03:00 51 -2 5 352 (N) 376 clear none 04:00 50 -2 7 358 (N) 369 clear none 05:00 52 -1 6 355 (N) 420 clear none 06:00 52 1 2 315 (NW) 475 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
