However, the winds kicked up to 40 mph and we needed to close. Then there was dust. We were able to reopen after a couple of hours but then the winds shifted and the seeing got REALLY bad. We were near 4" while Sloan was measuring 5". JH01 wasn't getting any useful data and gave up. AP01 was scheduled for an hour but the chiller isn't working so they donated their time to engineering. For engineering, I implemented the pointing model that I took yesterday and everything ran smooth. We didn't have agile or arctic to test on sky so, the remainder of the time was spent remapping the tertiary. While moving between ports it was failing at near every port. I have never done a remap solo before so it took me quite a while. But the wiki notes are AMAZING and I was able to walk through everything as well as add some bits to the wiki via Russet. After applying the new values the tertiary pointed to each port without issue. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AP01 APOLLO I/H 00:10 01:10 Chiller inop, donated time to EN01 ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:48 ecamera 416( -24) 104 83 5.2 5.7 6.5 5.3 5.2 clear 1.53 21:56 kosmos 252( 709) 107 79 3.4 3.5 4.3 3.3 3.1 clear 1.67 23:26 kosmos 152( 496) -21 79 1.2 1.1 2.5 1.4 1.3 clear 3.56 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 18 22 249 (WSW) 784 clear none 17:00 44 10 22 238 (WSW) 2232 clear none 18:00 43 6 19 258 (WSW) 1613 clear dust 19:00 41 6 16 262 (W) 2326 clear none 20:00 41 4 23 266 (W) 936 clear none 21:00 39 8 19 284 (WNW) 2040 clear none 22:00 37 11 24 303 (WNW) 1641 clear none 23:00 35 12 21 358 (N) 2431 clear none 00:00 35 5 15 15 (NNE) 653 clear none 01:00 34 3 13 29 (NNE) 555 clear none 02:00 33 0 18 16 (NNE) 464 clear none 03:00 33 -1 21 13 (NNE) 330 clear none 04:00 33 -1 17 359 (N) 251 clear none 05:00 35 -3 20 9 (N) 228 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
