We had an interesting issue with the tertiary while trying to go to TR4 for shack. It kept failing to clamps no matter which direction I came from. I had to use talk2boxes. Not sure if it's an issue with just that port or the tertiary so I'll try to do some rotation tests tomorrow. We had clouds all night but they were thin enough to punch through and the seeing was amazing!!! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:10 ecamera 321( -60) 180 79 8.1 6.9 7.5 6.8 7.1 ND3 0.80 21:27 kosmos 271( 934) 195 80 8.0 6.8 7.5 6.8 7.1 empty 0.70 21:34 kosmos 321( 935) 202 79 7.9 6.8 7.5 6.8 7.2 empty 0.65 00:12 APOLLO 321( 1744) -82 41 7.7 7.0 7.5 7.0 7.5 530 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 49 18 9 232 (SW) 526 mstly cldy none 17:00 45 14 10 213 (SSW) 752 mstly cldy none 18:00 45 13 13 199 (SSW) 597 mstly cldy none 19:00 45 14 13 194 (SSW) 702 mstly cldy none 20:00 45 15 9 190 (S) 904 mstly cldy none 21:00 46 17 11 186 (S) 975 mstly cldy none 22:00 46 15 10 206 (SSW) 857 mstly cldy none 23:00 46 6 14 212 (SSW) 100 ptly cldy none 00:00 46 3 11 228 (SW) 116 ptly cldy none 01:00 46 6 10 262 (W) 266 ptly cldy none 02:00 46 9 13 232 (SW) 350 mstly cldy none 03:00 46 13 15 248 (WSW) 473 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 15 15 243 (WSW) 567 ptly cldy none 05:00 45 17 13 231 (SW) 644 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
