They were the worst between 02:45 and 04:00, we did not close the dome but we stopped observing during this time due to the clouds. We closed the dome at 05:00 for truss cals as the observer's target was at too high airmass to contend with the clouds. No telescope or instrument problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:57 khigh 315( 1386) 142 71 13.7 15.4 15.1 15.1 13.5 -- 0.80 22:51 khigh 215( 1150) 111 68 13.1 12.5 13.1 12.3 12.7 -- 0.74 01:22 klow 265( 1225) 298 28 13.0 12.4 13.0 12.3 12.8 -- 1.29 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 28 13 249 (WSW) 1153 ptly cldy none 17:00 61 26 7 254 (WSW) 1043 ptly cldy none 18:00 60 26 12 228 (SW) 1076 ptly cldy none 19:00 57 25 14 218 (SW) 1424 ptly cldy none 20:00 57 25 13 200 (SSW) 1256 ptly cldy none 21:00 57 26 12 187 (S) 1381 ptly cldy none 22:00 56 26 13 212 (SSW) 1412 ptly cldy none 23:00 56 25 12 205 (SSW) 1450 ptly cldy none 00:00 57 25 14 216 (SW) 1274 ptly cldy none 01:00 56 24 14 208 (SSW) 869 ptly cldy none 02:00 55 24 13 193 (SSW) 822 mstly cldy none 03:00 55 23 15 203 (SSW) 898 mstly cldy none 04:00 53 24 14 203 (SSW) 743 ptly cldy none 05:00 54 23 17 198 (SSW) 690 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
