I thought it would only get worse after sunset but it started improving as twilight progressed! As the wind shifted, the humidity kept dropping and seeing improved. There were clouds off and on for most of the night, but even those cleared by about 4am. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:45 kosmos 425( 1305) 152 59 10.3 11.2 10.9 11.0 10.2 -- 1.49 01:20 tcamera 344( 1334) 224 63 9.7 9.4 9.9 9.3 9.3 Ks 1.19 06:08 APOLLO 300( 1733) 286 53 7.9 7.4 8.0 7.4 7.6 530 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 43 16 211 (SSW) mstly clr none 17:00 56 43 21 219 (SW) 1133 mstly clr none 18:00 52 44 20 202 (SSW) mstly clr none 19:00 50 44 20 208 (SSW) mstly clr none 20:00 50 39 17 204 (SSW) 1490 mstly clr none 21:00 51 34 15 198 (SSW) 1169 mstly cldy none 22:00 52 33 20 224 (SW) 1007 mstly cldy none 23:00 52 34 13 227 (SW) 1117 mstly cldy none 00:00 51 35 14 240 (WSW) 1207 mstly cldy none 01:00 49 37 12 262 (W) 1071 ptly cldy none 02:00 48 37 10 272 (W) 1195 ptly cldy none 03:00 48 32 14 286 (WNW) 985 mstly clr none 04:00 48 32 18 273 (W) 997 clear none 05:00 47 32 13 273 (W) 1000 clear none 06:00 46 31 13 269 (W) 983 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
