The skies remained clear and we were able to stay open all night. The onsite observers seemed to have a very productive and instructive visit thus far, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. The KOSMOS remote user had the slitview window freeze. Quitting and restarting TUI resolved the issue (user was running TUI 3.1.2 with macOS 11.7.10). No other issues tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:42 ecamera 326( 335) 84 76 14.3 15.2 15.7 15.1 14.5 ND4 0.77 00:50 ecamera 320( 218) 232 21 12.4 12.0 12.7 11.8 12.0 Clear 1.56 01:38 kosmos 130( 1054) 11 40 12.3 11.9 12.5 11.8 12.1 -- 2.20 05:45 tcamera 332( 1409) 217 58 11.7 11.1 11.8 11.1 11.4 Ks 1.28 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 22 7 231 (SW) 972 mstly clr none 17:00 64 21 23 206 (SSW) 1054 clear none 18:00 62 19 15 200 (SSW) 942 clear none 19:00 58 21 14 175 (S) 1056 clear none 20:00 57 20 15 153 (SSE) 974 clear none 21:00 57 20 16 143 (SE) 926 clear none 22:00 57 21 17 143 (SE) 962 clear none 23:00 57 21 15 144 (SE) 966 clear none 00:00 55 21 16 126 (SE) 1030 clear none 01:00 54 20 21 139 (SE) 1025 clear none 02:00 54 20 19 154 (SSE) 1054 clear none 03:00 54 19 16 147 (SSE) 978 clear none 04:00 54 19 17 148 (SSE) 908 clear none 05:00 54 19 20 138 (SE) 965 clear none 06:00 53 20 17 145 (SE) 1013 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
