CU03 started with Echelle, and switched to eyepiece at 23:00 for about an hour (which was amazing - even in the moonlight) before returning to Echelle. This ensured a swift transition for B Half. CU03 finished their final exposure a few minutes early, so UW08 was able to start their first slew at 01:00. Good conditions persisted all night. No problems with telescope or instruments. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:51 ecamera 296( 362) 203 70 15.3 16.4 16.2 15.8 15.4 - 0.90 00:34 ecamera 300( 250) 236 27 14.0 13.2 13.9 13.1 13.4 - 1.27 03:38 ecamera 344( 234) 22 49 12.7 12.4 13.1 12.4 12.4 ND3 0.84 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 24 9 332 (NNW) 1139 clear none 17:00 66 24 7 266 (W) 954 clear none 18:00 62 24 8 295 (WNW) 1092 clear none 19:00 60 24 9 303 (WNW) 1066 clear none 20:00 60 23 6 281 (W) 1093 clear none 21:00 60 22 4 264 (W) 898 clear none 22:00 59 22 9 195 (SSW) 1016 clear none 23:00 58 23 9 190 (S) 1548 clear none 00:00 57 23 11 201 (SSW) 1772 clear none 01:00 57 24 9 199 (SSW) 2022 clear none 02:00 56 24 6 187 (S) 1374 clear none 03:00 56 24 8 182 (S) 1210 clear none 04:00 54 23 7 184 (S) 1229 clear none 05:00 56 24 4 198 (SSW) 1226 clear none 06:00 55 24 6 187 (S) 1104 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
