The evening started out with virga everywhere except directly overhead. I stayed closed until it had all cleared but we were only able to stay open for an hour. Rain from the west and south was coming directly our way. We were not able to reopen. During checkouts I saw that one of the values to the echelle nurse tank was very much frosted over. I saw that it was lightly frosted on Friday and thought that perhaps the valve was wasn't fully closed. I made sure to close it tight but, this afternoon, there was so much frost that it was starting to cover the gauges. I gently knocked off what I could and watched the tank during fills but nothing seemed amiss. I filed PR 2183. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:03 ecamera 352( -140) 95 33 3.0 3.9 4.0 4.0 3.5 Clear 1.33 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 19 9 219 (SW) 1691 mstly cldy none 17:00 40 19 10 239 (WSW) 1578 mstly cldy none 18:00 39 16 14 214 (SW) 945 mstly cldy none 19:00 38 15 14 233 (SW) 848 ptly cldy none 20:00 38 14 14 234 (SW) 721 mstly cldy none 21:00 37 13 16 229 (SW) 652 cloudy none 22:00 38 13 16 236 (SW) 520 cloudy none 23:00 38 13 15 233 (SW) 736 cloudy none 00:00 39 13 16 204 (SSW) 504 cloudy none 01:00 35 18 14 208 (SSW) 1758 cloudy none 02:00 36 19 32 240 (WSW) 1961 mstly cldy none 03:00 35 19 20 216 (SW) 1308 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
