I could see smoke from the nearby fire during my checkout. Luckily it was blowing away from us. I did see a bat today in the enclosure. He was walking, not flying, in the pit on the observing level. I don’t know if it was sick or anything and didn’t feel like really investigating. Just be aware for those going up there. TSPEC became unhappy sometime after I did my checkout. It started throwing the message: 2023-07-25 02:55:42 APO.Jack-Obs0 86 hub f NoTarget="the target named tspec is not connected" I tried a hub startNubs but that didn’t fix it and it started throwing this message: 2023-07-25 02:56:49 APO.Jack-Obs0 87 hub w hubTxt="failed to start nub tspec: [Errno 113] No route to host" 2023-07-25 02:57:07 MN01.tspec-mon 3 hub f NoTarget="the target named tspec is not connected" I put in a call to Tracey F. to look at it. Russet thinks the ICC may have went down and we need to be gentle with that system, hence Tracey F. to the rescue! PR also submitted. Shane said that he saw something reset around this time. Russet moved the tert by hand back to NA2 after APOLLO. She found it a little more difficult than she remembered.
