My 1st half observer gave up a few minutes early due to a few pesky clouds. I managed to move the tert to NA1 via Bill's instructions and the wiki. The sky had improved by the time my 2nd observer finished their cals, so no time lost at the start of the night for their program. We closed a little early again due to clouds this morning. Humidity also started to climb at the end of the night, but I didn't see any rain threats on the radar. No telescope issues tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:37 kosmos 347( 1408) 36 60 20.2 22.5 22.2 22.2 20.6 -- 1.40 01:20 ecamera 394( 163) 92 61 15.7 17.4 18.3 16.9 16.2 clear 1.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 49 8 90 (E) 1485 cloudy none 17:00 77 48 11 199 (SSW) 1372 mstly cldy none 18:00 73 46 6 89 (E) 912 mstly cldy none 19:00 73 50 4 254 (WSW) 2713 mstly cldy none 20:00 69 48 3 284 (WNW) 2053 ptly cldy none 21:00 70 46 7 264 (W) 1415 ptly cldy none 22:00 68 46 9 10 (N) 4920 mstly clr none 23:00 70 44 6 280 (W) 1156 ptly cldy none 00:00 67 45 9 216 (SW) 1577 mstly clr none 01:00 61 52 8 171 (S) 3093 mstly clr none 02:00 62 50 7 279 (W) 2474 mstly clr none 03:00 60 52 7 279 (W) 2928 ptly cldy none 04:00 60 52 9 263 (W) 2259 mstly cldy none 05:00 58 53 4 339 (NNW) 2121 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
