We had a big thunderstorm passing through this evening, we got a little rain and a lot of thunder and wind. Clouds were solid for a while. They cleared up enough for us to check DIS on sky before the next wave of smaller storms came through and we got a tiny bit more rain. After the second set of storms the humidity went up. Engineering tasks: - Axes restarted - NA2 zeroed - Hub restarted - DIS contamination and performance checks - DIS spectrum of the M101 supernova - Scheduling ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:46 dcamera 744( 1018) 96 75 8.4 9.4 11.9 9.2 8.5 -- 1.58 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 38 14 115 (ESE) 1347 mstly cldy none 17:00 58 37 3 160 (SSE) 1405 mstly cldy none 18:00 54 40 15 94 (E) 1187 mstly cldy none 19:00 53 40 14 113 (ESE) 1160 cloudy none 20:00 52 38 20 76 (ENE) 1127 cloudy rain 21:00 49 39 20 30 (NNE) 1294 cloudy rain 22:00 45 42 16 73 (ENE) cloudy humid 23:00 46 40 20 76 (ENE) 956 cloudy none 00:00 48 38 23 61 (ENE) 1193 mstly cldy none 01:00 48 39 16 76 (ENE) 1149 ptly cldy none 02:00 47 39 20 80 (E) 1025 ptly cldy none 03:00 45 40 26 69 (ENE) 795 cloudy lt rain 04:00 44 41 16 85 (E) cloudy humid 05:00 45 40 11 82 (E) mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
