While slewing to field, the LANL group tried to reslew to their satellite and it resulted in the telescope hitting the hard limit. We needed to physically move the telescope up and, after resetting the alt drive, the alt was good for the rest of the night. I filed a PR for the issue: PR 2149. While the sky was clear with good seeing for the first half of the night, the wind shifted and the seeing became much worse. There were some thin clouds as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:28 APOLLO 425( 2033) 8 30 18.5 18.2 18.8 18.0 18.2 530 1.00 23:26 ecamera 453( 248) 1 50 18.1 17.8 18.6 17.8 18.0 ND1 0.90 00:34 AGILE 493( -852) -7 33 17.7 17.3 18.0 17.1 17.5 BG40 2.06 01:28 ecamera 437( 183) -8 38 15.2 16.5 17.3 16.5 15.6 ND1 2.17 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 32 7 306 (NW) 1466 clear none 17:00 72 32 23 218 (SW) 1404 clear none 18:00 69 28 20 257 (WSW) 1579 clear none 19:00 70 25 20 241 (WSW) 1220 clear none 20:00 67 23 15 233 (SW) 1155 clear none 21:00 65 24 4 201 (SSW) 1169 clear none 22:00 64 24 13 211 (SSW) 1238 clear none 23:00 65 25 11 219 (SW) 1577 clear none 00:00 63 26 13 208 (SSW) 1452 clear none 01:00 64 24 10 184 (S) 1548 clear none 02:00 60 42 15 142 (SE) 3070 clear none 03:00 59 46 7 134 (SE) 3430 mstly clr none 04:00 59 38 6 179 (S) 2405 mstly clr none 05:00 61 20 6 186 (S) 1339 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
