There was nearby virga starting a little before sunset that kept us closed for a little over an hour after sunset, afterwards we did some some focusing and alignment with HSAR, and at dawn were able to shoot the laser! The clouds got better in the middle of the night but got worse again towards morning. No telescope problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:54 ecamera 303( 288) 122 45 19.7 21.8 22.0 21.2 20.9 Clear 1.13 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 79 35 17 225 (SW) 1883 clear none 17:00 83 35 12 225 (SW) 1743 ptly cldy none 18:00 80 33 15 236 (SW) 1685 ptly cldy none 19:00 77 32 14 263 (W) 1825 ptly cldy none 20:00 74 30 19 228 (SW) 1763 mstly cldy none 21:00 71 34 9 265 (W) 1956 ptly cldy none 22:00 69 35 1 279 (W) 2228 mstly clr none 23:00 69 31 6 213 (SSW) 1585 mstly clr none 00:00 69 36 3 248 (WSW) 1942 mstly clr none 01:00 70 35 6 267 (W) 1749 mstly clr none 02:00 67 37 7 267 (W) 2591 mstly clr none 03:00 67 37 5 259 (W) 1935 mstly clr none 04:00 67 36 5 280 (W) 1768 ptly cldy none 05:00 66 37 2 268 (W) 2005 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
