It was totally clear for a while after sunset. We had clouds come through between 23:00 and 00:30, starting off thinner and getting pretty bad by the time APOLLO was supposed to start, and we spent the first 20 minutes watching clouds through the guider. After that it cleared up and we were photometric for the rest of the night! Dataq stopped again neither program nor computer were frozen, but PMSS was again unavailable as in PR2144 from last night. Restarting dataq and parallels did not help, so I power cycled the dataq box per the wiki and PMSS became available. Restarted dataq (with fixed filename). Obs0 ran out of space which made TUI quit with Launch errors. The telescope was fine all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:33 tcamera 441( 1352) 109 44 12.3 14.9 14.6 14.5 12.4 Ks 1.22 01:16 ecamera 370( -161) -93 48 11.2 10.9 11.6 10.8 11.2 ND4 0.74 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 19 18 232 (SW) 3213 mstly clr none 17:00 58 16 7 262 (W) 2324 mstly clr none 18:00 59 18 18 288 (WNW) 1918 mstly clr none 19:00 60 19 11 262 (W) 1742 clear none 20:00 55 17 10 266 (W) 1682 clear none 21:00 54 17 8 268 (W) 1715 clear none 22:00 52 18 6 255 (WSW) 1739 clear none 23:00 51 18 9 243 (WSW) 1737 ptly cldy none 00:00 53 18 7 260 (W) 1672 mstly cldy none 01:00 53 18 3 239 (WSW) 1726 clear none 02:00 51 19 1 345 (NNW) 1772 clear none 03:00 49 20 5 1 (N) 2095 clear none 04:00 52 21 13 27 (NNE) 2221 clear none 05:00 52 23 9 12 (NNE) 2212 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
