Though wind gusts were close to the limit in the afternoon, they dropped far enough down before sunset and improved over the course of the night. Dataq was frozen again when I arrived, with "Please wait for device reconnect" message. PMSS listed as "Off Line" in the tcp/ip manager. Restarted at 5:10 am. No other problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:47 tcamera 419( 1567) 44 60 17.8 20.1 20.0 19.9 18.3 Ks 0.90 01:23 arctic 472( 1298) -131 62 16.7 16.5 17.2 16.5 16.6 SDSS_r 1.21 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 29 19 263 (W) 1397 clear none 17:00 72 28 26 254 (WSW) 1469 mstly clr none 18:00 71 28 28 240 (WSW) 1818 mstly clr none 19:00 68 27 23 249 (WSW) 1906 mstly clr none 20:00 67 27 22 265 (W) 1656 mstly clr none 21:00 64 27 19 269 (W) 2646 ptly cldy none 22:00 63 27 22 273 (W) 1872 ptly cldy none 23:00 64 27 15 293 (WNW) 1568 ptly cldy none 00:00 64 27 19 290 (WNW) 1711 mstly clr none 01:00 63 27 17 296 (WNW) 1396 mstly clr none 02:00 62 27 22 293 (WNW) 1358 mstly clr none 03:00 61 28 17 300 (WNW) 1391 mstly clr none 04:00 61 27 17 298 (WNW) 1565 ptly cldy none 05:00 61 27 16 301 (WNW) 1451 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
