Seeing was fairly good and, while the winds were gusting over the limit in the afternoon, they calmed down in time for use to open a little before sunset. We had good seeing all night, and very nice seeing before sunrise when we used the eyepiece to look at the planets! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:33 ecamera 534( 227) 89 29 14.1 15.2 15.4 14.7 14.2 ND5 1.21 23:00 kosmos 554( 1202) 78 19 13.4 13.1 13.8 13.0 13.3 -- 2.13 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 18 28 265 (W) 895 clear none 17:00 64 18 22 243 (WSW) 1016 clear none 18:00 63 16 23 266 (W) 1376 clear none 19:00 62 15 26 236 (SW) 1297 clear none 20:00 59 14 25 266 (W) 1174 clear none 21:00 57 12 18 253 (WSW) 1107 clear none 22:00 56 11 14 263 (W) 1107 clear none 23:00 56 13 14 277 (W) 1152 clear none 00:00 55 14 15 280 (W) 917 clear none 01:00 55 17 14 335 (NNW) 1145 clear none 02:00 54 16 11 292 (WNW) 1146 clear none 03:00 52 19 18 315 (NW) 1316 clear none 04:00 53 21 10 294 (WNW) 1364 clear none 05:00 52 21 13 342 (NNW) 1380 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
