Seeing was great all night! DSSI was able to get lots of good data and are going to be testing their IR camera soon. The arctic diffuser struggled a little to rotate, but after a couple of attempts it started spinning. CU02 tried out some dome flats with the new fence and, aside from a little increase in light in one of the corners, it worked great! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:19 dssi 345( 1419) -6 71 10.0 15.4 15.6 15.0 14.2 692 0.70 23:11 arctic 386( 1025) 92 51 10.0 12.4 13.2 12.2 12.6 sdss-i 1.17 03:31 ecamera 416( -132) 119 62 10.0 10.6 11.3 10.6 10.6 clear 0.89 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 25 236 (SW) 1429 mstly clr none 17:00 14 209 (SSW) 1490 mstly clr none 18:00 19 231 (SW) 1242 mstly clr none 19:00 16 215 (SW) 1195 mstly clr none 20:00 12 249 (WSW) 1234 mstly clr none 21:00 9 246 (WSW) 1120 mstly clr none 22:00 9 261 (W) 1239 clear none 23:00 13 265 (W) 1386 clear none 00:00 11 262 (W) 1566 clear none 01:00 9 233 (SW) 1659 clear none 02:00 9 224 (SW) 1457 clear none 03:00 9 257 (WSW) 1179 clear none 04:00 8 267 (W) 1338 clear none 05:00 4 254 (WSW) 1321 clear none 06:00 6 261 (W) 1320 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
