The large storm arrived a little after 21:00, passed through by about 01:00, but with more smaller storms and clouds behind it. By the time the radar looked safe we were completely overcast again, and then ran out of time necessary for UW06's observations. We didn't open tonight. The NM07 observer reported trouble with TUI downloading images about the same time as I had a hiccup with on-site wifi (around 21:00, close to when the storm started here). I also had TUI on obs0 get disconnected ('No data seen in 60.0 seconds; testing the connection') at 04:18. When I swapped the KOSMOS slits this morning and did a status robotics to update, I got some warnings about the cal stage and homed it a few times to clear them. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 42 11 200 (SSW) cloudy none 17:00 56 43 9 181 (S) cloudy none 18:00 54 44 8 114 (ESE) cloudy none 19:00 53 40 14 114 (ESE) cloudy none 20:00 50 40 13 137 (SE) cloudy humid 21:00 48 44 11 257 (WSW) cloudy rain 22:00 40 41 9 357 (N) cloudy rain 23:00 41 41 4 342 (NNW) cloudy lt rain 00:00 41 35 7 263 (W) cloudy lt rain 01:00 44 37 9 240 (WSW) ptly cldy humid 02:00 45 35 11 223 (SW) cloudy none 03:00 44 37 11 249 (WSW) cloudy none 04:00 43 36 14 233 (SW) mstly clr none 05:00 43 37 11 223 (SW) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
