Elevated dust levels at the start of the night. I was able to open at sunset. I had to abort an echelle exposure. I found out at the end of the night that this hung the hub for the echelle and I needed to do a startNubs to get it working again. No telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:22 arctic 425( 1101) 146 77 10.0 13.5 13.6 13.1 11.5 SDSS_i 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 21 229 (SW) 4469 ptly cldy dust 17:00 10 189 (S) 4195 ptly cldy dust 18:00 21 249 (WSW) 4706 ptly cldy dust 19:00 16 228 (SW) 4135 mstly clr dust 20:00 15 214 (SW) 4131 clear dust 21:00 12 196 (SSW) 3607 clear none 22:00 13 216 (SW) 3339 clear none 23:00 10 227 (SW) 2746 clear none 00:00 7 89 (E) 2738 clear none 01:00 5 257 (WSW) 2227 clear none 02:00 2 236 (SW) 1874 clear none 03:00 3 196 (SSW) 1919 clear none 04:00 4 218 (SW) 2024 clear none 05:00 6 262 (W) 2282 clear none 06:00 1 199 (SSW) 2137 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
