Sadly, the seeing was not very good. The wind was coming from the north and we had high gusts and dust in the afternoon. Since UW03 did have high priority targets tonight, they donated their time to UW06 and UW08. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05:59 klow 492( 824) 104 85 10.0 7.2 7.8 7.3 7.3 -- 1.22 20:17 kosmos 544( 811) -16 52 10.0 5.5 6.2 5.2 4.8 -- 1.64 01:35 kosmos 542( 727) 94 79 10.0 4.1 4.8 4.3 4.6 -- 1.53 05:13 arctic 412( 670) 37 22 10.0 3.7 4.3 3.7 3.8 -- 1.53 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 24 354 (N) 1941 clear dust 17:00 24 7 (N) 1464 clear dust 18:00 8 314 (NW) 699 clear none 19:00 13 360 (N) 660 clear none 20:00 13 323 (NW) 660 mstly clr none 21:00 9 22 (NNE) 836 mstly clr none 22:00 13 10 (N) 981 mstly clr none 23:00 14 22 (NNE) 1011 clear none 00:00 12 356 (N) 1378 clear none 01:00 5 17 (NNE) 1409 clear none 02:00 10 360 (N) 1506 clear none 03:00 19 19 (NNE) 1713 clear none 04:00 13 33 (NNE) 2354 clear none 05:00 14 19 (NNE) 1749 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
