I also had to restart the weather mac (twice) because it was frozen. Wind gusts up to about 40mph and dust in the afternoon, we stayed closed for about 20 minutes at the start of the night out of caution due to a blip on the radar and some really low nearby clouds. The sky cleared up after twilight and we had photometric skies for the rest of the night, but with marginal windspeeds. Seeing got worse after we focused during A-half but improved again before B-half. Agile aborted a sequence with an image available too early error (timestamp 2023-04-15 03:50:43) but didn't need the heartbeat reset, OU01 was able to start a new sequence after that. However, the Agile guider stopped working and would not even find the obvious stars in the field, so we had to do hub startNubs afocus to fix it. I also had to restart the echelle icc at the end of the night when an image got stuck at 0.0 seconds reading out. The test bias taken after failed with RuntimeError "Failed to resize data", I tried restarting the nubs first which didn't work so I restarted the icc again. After this, images read out successfully. The time recorded in the failure log includes the exposure time for the image that was lost. The time is still included on sky since we did not close up until after the exposure. Temperatures dropped from 7.5C in the afternoon to 1C by morning; humidity rose from 30 to 40%. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JH06 ECHELLE I/S 05:28 06:16 ECHELLE icc hanging, image readout failures. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:17 AGILE 537(-1324) 28 77 10.0 7.0 7.2 6.7 6.2 BG40 1.49 00:20 ecamera 438( -426) 308 39 10.0 3.6 4.3 3.6 3.6 ND2 1.08 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 25 263 (W) 2357 mstly cldy none 17:00 23 252 (WSW) 2181 mstly cldy dust 18:00 24 257 (WSW) 2650 ptly cldy none 19:00 28 261 (W) 1978 ptly cldy none 20:00 24 262 (W) 2195 mstly clr none 21:00 23 266 (W) 2261 clear none 22:00 23 267 (W) 2763 clear none 23:00 25 277 (W) 2187 clear none 00:00 23 295 (WNW) 1955 clear none 01:00 25 302 (WNW) 2339 clear none 02:00 23 300 (WNW) 2298 clear none 03:00 29 301 (WNW) 2329 clear none 04:00 22 288 (WNW) 2113 clear none 05:00 13 313 (NW) 1939 clear none 06:00 10 351 (N) 1890 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
