Pretty good seeing that got worse when the clouds did. The alt drive hummed when the telescope was stopped at 104,60 during test slews. I moved it up and down and back to 60 and it didn't make any noise the second time. There were no other telescope or instrument problems. Temperatures dropped from 11C in the afternoon to 3C by the morning. Humidity rose from 13% to 30%. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:48 ecamera 361( -270) 280 32 10.0 8.4 8.7 8.3 7.4 ND3 1.23 19:45 ecamera 417( -293) 247 78 10.0 7.4 7.9 7.2 7.1 Clear 0.99 23:11 APOLLO 350( 1391) 298 62 10.0 6.6 7.1 6.4 7.2 530 1.80 00:20 klow 352( 681) 198 37 10.0 6.5 7.2 6.6 6.7 -- 1.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 17 201 (SSW) 785 clear none 17:00 16 225 (SW) 909 clear none 18:00 12 247 (WSW) 970 clear none 19:00 17 233 (SW) 940 clear none 20:00 14 209 (SSW) 1265 clear none 21:00 13 235 (SW) 1469 mstly clr none 22:00 12 218 (SW) 1431 ptly cldy none 23:00 12 226 (SW) 1149 ptly cldy none 00:00 12 227 (SW) 1051 ptly cldy none 01:00 12 238 (WSW) 981 ptly cldy none 02:00 15 211 (SSW) 1208 clear none 03:00 13 213 (SSW) 1039 clear none 04:00 13 241 (WSW) 1078 clear none 05:00 17 259 (W) 700 clear none 06:00 23 254 (WSW) 699 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
