The ARCTIC ion pump controller was also in an unhappy state (possibly associated with time on generator power today?) and needed to be power cycled. The NA2 eyelid also had trouble opening (PR2134). We lost about an hour and a half to clouds that we couldn't observe through at midnight, but we stayed open because the weather was fine otherwise. The clouds continued to be annoying for the rest of the night, but DSSI was able to observe through most of them. Temperatures were around 5C most of the night, humidity around 30%. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:44 dssi 463( 1190) -13 59 10.0 8.0 8.3 7.8 7.5 692 0.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 20 212 (SSW) 840 ptly cldy none 17:00 23 229 (SW) 766 ptly cldy none 18:00 15 265 (W) 549 mstly clr none 19:00 16 244 (WSW) 659 mstly clr none 20:00 16 251 (WSW) 676 mstly clr none 21:00 13 267 (W) 672 ptly cldy none 22:00 11 279 (W) 658 ptly cldy none 23:00 15 279 (W) 666 mstly cldy none 00:00 15 283 (WNW) 651 mstly cldy none 01:00 15 278 (W) 549 mstly cldy none 02:00 20 292 (WNW) 642 mstly cldy none 03:00 17 283 (WNW) 689 mstly cldy none 04:00 22 281 (W) 592 mstly cldy none 05:00 21 305 (NW) 652 mstly cldy none 06:00 21 288 (WNW) 556 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
