We also had high clouds to contend with, but at least the seeing was moderately good. During second half, skies were mostly clear and seeing was good. Observing was so productive that the team ran through their target list before the start of astronomical twilight and used their remaining time for calibrations. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:03 kosmos 485( 804) 83 61 10.0 6.8 6.7 6.3 5.4 - 1.31 00:21 tcamera 435( 697) 43 64 10.0 1.4 2.8 1.9 1.9 Ks 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 12 264 (W) 786 ptly cldy none 17:00 15 244 (WSW) 854 mstly clr none 18:00 14 216 (SW) 965 mstly clr none 19:00 18 240 (WSW) 1197 ptly cldy none 20:00 20 247 (WSW) 1316 ptly cldy none 21:00 18 252 (WSW) 1335 ptly cldy none 22:00 16 249 (WSW) 1374 mstly clr none 23:00 17 271 (W) 3183 mstly clr none 00:00 16 277 (W) 1620 mstly clr none 01:00 7 260 (W) 1549 mstly clr none 02:00 6 293 (WNW) 1985 mstly clr none 03:00 6 340 (NNW) 1506 mstly clr none 04:00 7 332 (NNW) 1304 mstly clr none 05:00 6 311 (NW) 1174 mstly clr none 06:00 11 345 (NNW) 1386 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
