We had gusts of 80mph and sustained winds of 50mph. It looks like it knocked down a lot of trees in Cloudcroft and the town is without power. We are currently on generator power and were not able to open tonight. At one point during my Q2 training this afternoon, we conducted test slews with the breaks in place and the azimuth reported a motion error. The stop button for collisions was illuminated but there wasn't a collision. I reset the controller and everything seems fine. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 275 (W) cloudy dust 17:00 36 274 (W) cloudy humid 18:00 29 269 (W) 22775 mstly clr dust 19:00 20 280 (W) 1106 clear dust 20:00 15 311 (NW) 1706 clear none 21:00 17 303 (WNW) 2084 clear none 22:00 12 352 (N) clear none 23:00 14 25 (NNE) 219 clear none 00:00 25 318 (NW) 484 clear none 01:00 13 318 (NW) 129 clear none 02:00 22 302 (WNW) 136 clear none 03:00 26 323 (NW) 164 clear none 04:00 20 322 (NW) 120 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
