I encouraged the first observer to move away from his primary target a little early because of wind, but observations continued. Once the wind settled, there were no further problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:20 tcamera 599( 836) 14 62 10.0 0.8 0.9 1.6 1.0 Ks 1.35 20:23 ecamera 416( -613) 33 56 10.0 0.4 1.0 0.5 0.9 Clr 0.95 00:33 arctic 452( 555) 253 28 10.0 0.6 1.4 0.9 1.6 VR 1.35 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 33 217 (SW) 2854 mstly clr none 17:00 23 216 (SW) 1969 clear none 18:00 24 203 (SSW) 1708 clear none 19:00 21 206 (SSW) 1546 clear none 20:00 21 201 (SSW) 1785 clear none 21:00 24 193 (SSW) 1614 clear none 22:00 17 185 (S) 1535 clear none 23:00 17 200 (SSW) 1152 mstly clr none 00:00 18 201 (SSW) 1147 ptly cldy none 01:00 24 201 (SSW) 1052 mstly clr none 02:00 23 208 (SSW) 1331 mstly clr none 03:00 18 191 (S) 1650 mstly clr none 04:00 25 205 (SSW) 1930 mstly clr none 05:00 13 239 (WSW) 1924 clear none 06:00 17 234 (SW) 1610 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
