First, the heartbeat needed to be reset at checkout. Once we were on sky, the rotator really struggled near rotation -110 and we got multiple rotation errors: -122.6 (01:37) -112.7 (04:16) -110.3 (04:50) -109.7 (05:45) The weather was a bust for A half. There were clouds and radar returns but nothing actually seemed to hit the ground. It was a bit touch and go for all of B half but we only had to close for 1.6 hrs when a wave of precipitation came our way. Seeing was not good. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:13 AGILE 418(-1702) 272 74 10.0 1.4 2.2 2.4 3.1 BG40 2.01 03:39 AGILE 523(-1543) 251 32 10.0 1.9 3.2 3.1 3.6 BG40 2.53 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 14 188 (S) 239 mstly cldy none 17:00 19 153 (SSE) 196 mstly cldy none 18:00 19 187 (S) 185 cloudy none 19:00 24 167 (SSE) 255 cloudy none 20:00 7 93 (E) 281 cloudy none 21:00 16 208 (SSW) 465 mstly cldy none 22:00 8 202 (SSW) 588 ptly cldy none 23:00 9 223 (SW) 778 ptly cldy none 00:00 9 265 (W) 872 mstly clr none 01:00 12 271 (W) 622 mstly clr none 02:00 12 268 (W) 688 mstly cldy none 03:00 17 256 (WSW) 666 ptly cldy none 04:00 10 262 (W) 667 mstly clr none 05:00 10 245 (WSW) 677 ptly cldy none 06:00 10 241 (WSW) 617 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
