But seeing was poor at least at the start of the night, and then the wind went over the 15 mph limit necessitated by ice on the roof of the dome. I did manage to get the twilight flats to accompany last night's throughput data (plus a little more throughput data in different seeing conditions). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:12 arctic 339( 510) 54 50 -5.6 -5.0 -4.6 -5.4 -5.6 SDSS_g 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 25 -4 14 359 (N) 120 clear none 17:00 23 -7 1 248 (WSW) 118 clear none 18:00 22 -7 3 348 (NNW) 118 clear none 19:00 23 0 13 328 (NNW) 113 clear none 20:00 22 3 8 292 (WNW) 132 clear none 21:00 21 6 15 281 (W) 123 clear none 22:00 21 9 18 298 (WNW) 146 clear none 23:00 20 12 13 271 (W) 166 clear none 00:00 20 13 19 283 (WNW) 177 clear none 01:00 20 8 15 306 (NW) 152 clear none 02:00 18 4 12 306 (NW) 134 clear none 03:00 18 -1 14 6 (N) 634 clear none 04:00 18 -9 20 345 (NNW) 155 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
