I ran the snow program while the snow was falling. The sky cleared around 03:00 but with the snow from earlier in the evening, and still high humidity, we weren't opening. I pointed the telescope south to help melt the snow/ice on the enclosure during the day. Black Ice is on the parking lot and sidewalks. It will be very slippery until the sun can melt the ice. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 38 27 12 139 (SE) 659 cloudy lt snow 17:00 38 28 5 198 (SSW) 632 cloudy lt snow 18:00 32 32 1 191 (S) cloudy snow 19:00 32 32 12 183 (S) cloudy snow 20:00 32 32 12 178 (S) cloudy lt snow 21:00 34 33 5 272 (W) cloudy fog 22:00 34 34 6 193 (SSW) cloudy fog 23:00 33 34 7 251 (WSW) mstly cldy fog 00:00 33 33 6 235 (SW) mstly cldy fog 01:00 34 34 3 245 (WSW) mstly cldy fog 02:00 34 34 1 273 (W) ptly cldy humid 03:00 33 33 9 323 (NW) mstly clr humid 04:00 32 32 9 333 (NNW) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
