Observing Specialist: R.DeColibus
The humidity was pretty high for the first part of the night, but we opened up at 22:00 once I was convinced that it was stable enough below the limits that we wouldn't have problems. THe humidity started to rise again and we closed up around 03:30. I was being extra cautious about humidity and fog, because I could see the fog covering the Tularosa Basin and the ridgeline just below us, and our observers called it a night around 05:00.
The nightlogFocus script that we record the focus for the nightlog wasn't working, giving an error that it "Failed: timed out". I've never seen it do that before. Both the nightlogFocusMST and nightlogFocusMDT scripts did the same thing, so I just recorded the focus manually below:
